Project Family Car
- Provides cars to families making the transition from
welfare to work
- ATI refurbishes donated cars - generally at a cost
of around $800
- Participating families apply for a car loan to cover
the costs of refurbishing the car
- The loans also serve to help families build or
repair credit history

Car Care Clinics
- ATI provides Car Care Clinics to families who
receive cars
- The goal is to teach the families how to maintain
their car and ensure that the car stays on the road

Short-Term Training
- ATI provides Short-Term Training for individuals
interested in gaining skills in auto mechanical repair
- Through the use of mentors, participants learn
skills in mechanical and auto body repair
- The purpose of this mentor training is to help
participants gain confidence and learning skills before
moving on to an accredited training program
